Welcome to my page!
My role as a technical artist at RedBana Studios on Hellgate London has allowed me to focus on tool development as well as creating new monster rigs. I mentored a team of artists in producing content for Hellgate London, created various tutorials and wrote instructional material for internal and external artists. I have also created the particle effects seen on the new monsters and weapons.
Previous to RedBana I worked at Flagship Studios on Hellgate London as a technical artist. I specified, evaluated, processed, and supported weapon, monster, and item assets created by external art contractors. To aid in these tasks I created tools that tracked, processed, and exported game source art and assets. I created tutorials and specification documents to aid the contractors in dealing with our workflows and engine requirements. I rigged and animated weapons. I helped create particle effects for various monsters, weapons, skills, and environments. I created ragdolls for monsters and player characters and streamlined my workflow with custom scripts.
While at Acclaim Studios Austin I excelled as an artist on 8 Game Titles including the All-Star Baseball seies, Quarterback Club, Vexx and NBA Jam. I developed artistic assets for mulitple console platforms such as; Nintendo 64, Dreamcast, Playstation 2, Nintendo Gamecube, and XBox. My main areas of focus were modeling, texturing, lighting, special effects, and tool development using MaxScript.
