Fieldorama

This script provides a spline template and sets up the modeling environment for baseball stadium creation. It can also be used to quickly check base, mound, and wall placement in existing stadiums for accuracy.

Fieldorama sets the units and grid settings for Acclaim Standards. The user enters in the distances from home plate to wall areas most commonly given for baseball field dimensions. The user specifies how many times to divide the segment that defines that wall section. “L Dug Segs” and “R Dug Segs” refer to the number of segment divisions for the wall sections that usually contain the dugout. The “Smooth Field Walls” checkbox allows curves instead of corners for outfield walls. “Smooth Backstop” creates a smooth backstop spline through its defining points instead of corners. “Base and Mound Refs” Creates rectangles and squares where the bases and pitching rubber should be located.

Rampola

Many exits ramps in stadiums have common basic shape components that have to fit in with the slope of the stadium geometry. This script creates parametric exit ramps between two selected verts. The ramp position drop-down list allows for bottom, ¼ distance from bottom, ½ distance between, ¾ up, and top placement of the exit ramp. The ramp complexity drop-down allows you to specify one of two types of ramps to build. Ramp parameters are entered in inches. Additional stair geometry can be added to the left, right, above, and below.

Vertex Color Modifier

This script allows the modification of vertex colors in conjunction with soft-selection falloff. A color can be chosen and overlaid with a desired level of opacity. The Hue, Saturation, or Value of vertex colors can be adjusted also.
